Sorting Activities by Concept
This approach allows teachers to incorporate relevant Classroom Activities that support/supplement their existing teaching plans. Classroom Activities can be used to help students learn specific concepts that are being taught in the classroom as part of the math curriculum. This approach may be helpful when teachers are working with their whole class or larger groups of students and are looking for fun and interactive activities to supplement student learning.
To use this approach, teachers can use the Math Observation Assessment Tool (MOAT) to identify general math concepts their students are struggling with or that they want to target in their math lessons and find the corresponding Classroom Activities.
