Classroom Activities

The MILE Classroom Activity Pages outline specific fun and interactive activities that teachers can complete with their student(s) in a variety of settings. The Classroom Activities cover math topics, including addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, counting, fractions, graphs, measurement, patterns, place value, regrouping, shapes, and sorting.

Teachers can use two approaches to select Classroom Activities:

  1. Error-Based Approach: Identify activities that target specific errors students are making. This is ideal for one-on-one or small group settings where remediation is needed.

  2. Concept-Based Approach: Choose activities that align with general math concepts being taught. This approach is suited for supplementing whole-class instruction or larger groups, reinforcing the overall math curriculum.
